To establish themselves as the greatest sports happening in Sweden, without offering a single minute of live sports, Idrottsgalan needed a new visual identity. Sports achievements are measured in numbers. Who jumped the highest, who ran the fastest? Who scored most goals? Who scored most points? All numbers, measuring and calculating only to crown the No.1. That’s why Idrottsgalan’s initial letter “I” got the shape on a 1. The accompanying numeral pattern is built on classical Swedish records – decorative for most, a journey of discovery or a quiz for the initiated.
