For the Santa exhibition at Sven-Harry’s art museum, we drew inspiration from an iconic Christmas decoration, creating a classic paper chain featuring Santa Claus. However, our chain was unique as it consisted of a timeline with different Santas (one for each theme in the exhibition).

The Santas represented included St. Nicholas, the Yule Goat, the Farmyard Santa, and the Modern Santa. These depictions were used as a creative way to tell the story of the evolution of the Santa Claus figure over time.

Internally, the project was referred to as the ’Tomteparaden’, which everyone liked so much that it ended up being the actual name of the exhibition.
