A tasty sauce can make a real difference to a meal, just like a tasteful design can make a real difference to a brand. Rydbergs is a great example of both these truths. Beginning with a mayonnaise first launched in 1930s, the Rydberg family has built an empire of sauces and salads enhancing every meal. Rydbergs turned to Open Studio with the challenge to come up with a redesign of their entire product line. Our solution, which also included a communication strategy, made each respective product stand out and highlighted its intended use, yet the overall design made it clear that they were all part of the same product family. Open Studio was also asked to create a jubilee design for the 80-year anniversary of the legendary mayonnaise that started it all back in 1937.
