MER. Back to the roots of a Swedish design classic

Open Studio was commissioned to update the design of MER, a beloved and classic Swedish softdrink brand dating back to 1962. The task was double as we were asked to redesign both bottles (geared at teenagers) and tetras (favored by children and families). For both designs, we focused on the Swedish origin and gave the packaging new playful fruit and berry illustrations coupled with hand-drawn typography. Overall, the redesign is a tribute to pure, natural flavors and refreshing moments with a touch of Swedish summer all year round.
